Who can make a submission?

The competition is open to all Primary School aged pupils across Aberdeenshire, this includes those who are home schooled. We welcome entries from pupils with Additional Support Needs (ASN) into each category.
Entrants may only submit one piece of art into the competition.
Judging and prizes?

There are three prize categories, Primary 1-3; 4-5; 6-7.
The entries will be judged anonymously by a panel of judges selected by Barthol Chapel Community Hub.
One winner will be chosen from each category.
The judges’ decision is final.
Winners will be notified as soon after as possible.
Prizes
Prizes will be a activity gift vouchers for Lochter Outdoor Activity Centre and gift vouchers for Art Supplies provided by the Positive Action Grant (PAG).
No alternative prizes are available.
What is the closing date?

The closing date by which all entries must be submitted is Friday 10th April 2026.
How do I submit the art?

To enter, please take a photo or scan of the artwork and use the upload facility on this website.
Tips...
JPEG files are easier for us to handle.
Please don’t stick anything on the front of the artwork e.g. child’s name
Please make sure all images sent are in focus and are in fairly high digital quality
Other things to note…

Digital or AI generated artwork will not be accepted.
All entries will be the property of Barthol Chapel Community Hub (BCCH) and may be used for their own promotional purposes in BCCH publications, social media and on their website.
BCCH hold the right to use the artworks for future physical exhibitions.
