The Formartine Schools Art Competition is delighted to be collaborating with The Barthol Chapel Community Hub, a charity creating a community space for everyone to meet, share, learn and celebrate!

We are bringing together local artists and businesses to celebrate our shared love of art and Aberdeenshire. The judging panel comes from varied backgrounds connected with art and design from across Aberdeenshire.

The competition is kindly sponsored by Lochter Activity Centre which showcases the best Aberdeenshire has to offer with a huge range of outdoor activities, a fishery and fantastic restaurant serving the very best of local produce. We are also supported by NEAT, through Positive Action Grant (PAG) funding by Aberdeenshire Council and Live Life Aberdeenshire. PAG aims to improve community health and wellbeing in selected rural settlements with limited public transport and restricted local access to culture

As well as fantastic prizes for the winners all artwork will be displayed both online and in an exhibition held in the Barthol Chapel Community Hub.
